Who We Are
An independent research platform dedicated to making peer-reviewed science on cinnamon accessible, honest, and useful for everyday health decisions.
Cinnamon is one of the most researched spices on earth — with hundreds of peer-reviewed studies exploring its effects on blood glucose, cholesterol, inflammation, cognitive function, and more. Yet most people only know it as a baking spice, and most "cinnamon health" content online is written to sell products, not inform readers.
CinnamonHealth exists to fill that gap. We curate and synthesise findings from published clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses — and present them clearly, with proper citations and honest caveats about evidence quality.
Our goal: bridge the gap between academic research and everyday health decisions.
Four commitments that guide everything we publish.
Every claim on this site is backed by published, peer-reviewed research. We cite our sources and distinguish clearly between strong clinical evidence and preliminary findings.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or paid by any cinnamon brand, supplement manufacturer, or health product company. Our reviews and guides are fully independent.
We translate complex medical research into clear, accessible information — without dumbing it down. You get the nuance without needing a PhD to understand it.
We welcome corrections, new research suggestions, and reader feedback. Science improves with open dialogue. If we've got something wrong, we want to know.
Our editorial methodology for sourcing and evaluating evidence.
We search PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar for cinnamon-related clinical trials and systematic reviews.
We prioritise double-blind, randomised controlled trials (RCTs) over observational studies.
Study quality is assessed using GRADE criteria where possible.
We clearly note when evidence is preliminary, animal-only, or requires further human research.
Content is reviewed and updated as new significant studies are published.
Nothing on CinnamonHealth constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We present research to inform — not to prescribe.
